Humanitarian Projects

Since September 2021, the UMMGAA has provided humanitarian assistance (cash assistance for Food and NFIs and Shelter) to 20+ IDP camps, 10,000+ IDPs from 60 villages, cash assistance to 200+ young medical professionals upon their requests, who have been participating in the CDM campaign, 12,000+ with Primary Health Care not limited to SRMNCH services and awareness to those people in conflict affected areas across Myanmar, especially in Chin, Kayin, Kayah States, and Magway and Sagaing Regions.

The UMMGAA has been implementing the following humanitarian projects across the country under the network of its alumni who are dedicated at frontlines.

Education in Emergency

For children in emergencies, education is about more than the right to learn that UMMGAA prioritize in such crisis period. UMMGAA provided cash for stationary and clothes to teachers and children in emergencies.

WASH

Especially in a crisis, internally displaced people can’t access safe drinking water and sanitation. Therefore UMMGAA provided three deep-wells for water supply in two IDP camps covering 2000 IDPs. Moreover we provide material support for water purification and female toilet construction.
